Jeans can feel confusing. We make it simple: pick your size system, choose your numbers, and we guide you to the best starting size + the right fit.

Smart Start

Tell us what you want. We will take you there right away. Pick one box below.

I want my jeans size (fast)

Choose your size system and your waist/hips. We suggest a safe starting size + conversions.

I want the right jeans fit

Use filters. We explain every jeans style in simple words.

I want comfort (no pinching)

We help you choose stretch level, rise, and fit so you can sit and move easily.

I want a flattering shape

We guide you to fits that balance hips, waist, and legs in the most flattering way.

I don’t know anything (help me)

The fastest path (3 steps)
1) Measure waist 2) Measure hips 3) Choose rise + fit Then check stretch
Simple checklist
  • You measured waist and hips (optional: inseam for length).
  • Your tape was snug, not tight.
  • If you are between sizes: choose the size that fits your hips best, then tailor the waist (easy fix).

If something feels off, go to Fixes. We tell you exactly what to change.

Size Finder

Jeans sizing (super simple)
  • Waist is where your jeans sit (high/mid/low rise changes the spot).
  • Hips is the fullest part of your hips/seat.
  • Inseam is inner leg length (optional, for petite/tall accuracy).

If your waist and hips point to different sizes: buy for the hips, then tailor the waist.

1) Pick unit 2) Pick system 3) Pick waist 4) Pick hips 5) Tap button

Option A: Use measurements (best)

No tape measure?

Use a string. Wrap, mark it, then measure that length with a ruler.

Option B: I know my regular size already

Pick your everyday size system and size. We show your best starting jeans size + all conversions.

Jeans rule

If the hips feel tight, size up. A tailor can take in the waist easily, but widening hips is hard.

Fit Rules

The 6 easy jeans fit rules

  • Waist stays put: no sliding down, no painful digging.
  • Seat looks smooth: no baggy “diaper” look, no overstretch lines.
  • Thighs are comfortable: you can sit and walk without pulling.
  • Crotch feels right: no deep sag, no tight pulling.
  • Knee breaks nicely: not twisted seams (means wrong cut/size).
  • Length is your choice: crop/ankle/full/stacked is style.
Hips too tight = size up Waist too big = tailor Stretch changes fit

If you are unsure: choose Straight-Leg. It flatters most bodies, feels comfortable, and works with almost any shoes.

Pick Your Jeans Rise

Rise = how high the jeans sit on your body. Answer 3 quick questions and we suggest the best rises to start with.

Low rise
Sits low on hips. Trendy and cool, but can feel less secure when sitting.
Mid rise
Sits around belly button area (slightly below). The most balanced everyday rise.
High rise
Sits at/above belly button. Secure, flattering, and great for tucking tops.
Ultra high rise
Sits higher on waist. Strong waist definition and very secure feel.

Pick Your Stretch

Stretch decides comfort and how jeans “relax” during the day. Answer 3 quick questions and we suggest stretch level to start with.

Rigid denim (0–1% stretch)

  • Look: classic, holds shape.
  • Feel: stiffer at first, breaks in.
  • Best for: straight, wide, vintage fits.

Comfort stretch (1–3% elastane)

  • Look: still “real denim”.
  • Feel: comfortable and supportive.
  • Best for: slim, straight, mom, bootcut.

High stretch (4%+)

  • Look: body-hugging.
  • Feel: very comfy, can relax over time.
  • Best for: skinny/jeggings.

Comfort tips

  • If jeans get baggy after 1 hour, you need less stretch or a smaller waist.
  • If jeans feel painful, choose more stretch or size up in hips.
  • Dark wash often feels “tighter” at first (dye + finishing).

Details That Matter

Waist gap
Common when hips fit but waist is larger. Tailor can fix easily with darts or waistband adjustment.
Back pocket placement
Higher pockets can lift the look of the seat. Wider-set pockets can make hips look wider.
Yoke shape
The V-shape seam on the back. A sharper V can be more flattering on the seat.
Fabric weight
Heavier denim holds shape more. Lighter denim feels softer and more breathable.
Wash & finish
Dark wash is polished. Light wash is casual. Distressing/rips add a street vibe.
Hem styles
Clean hem, raw hem, cuffed, frayed. Small change, big style impact.

Fixes

Pick your issue. We tell you what to do.

Waist gap (back gap)
Buy for hips, then tailor the waist. This is one of the easiest fixes.
Too tight in hips/seat
Size up. Hip tightness is hard to fix with tailoring. Then tailor waist if needed.
Too tight in thighs
Choose a less snug fit (straight/relaxed/wide) or add stretch. Avoid ultra rigid.
Baggy knees / gets loose fast
Too much stretch or too big. Try less stretch or one size down in waist.
Crotch sag
Often wrong rise or too big. Try higher rise or smaller size, or a different cut.
Leg twist / side seam twist
Can happen from poor cut or wrong size. Try another style/brand or go up in hips.
Length is wrong
Hem it, cuff it, or choose petite/tall inseam. Length is style, so pick what you love.

FAQ

Should I buy jeans to fit waist or hips?
If you must choose: fit the hips. Tailoring the waist is easy. Fixing tight hips is hard.
Do jeans stretch out?
Yes. More elastane = more stretch/relax. Rigid denim breaks in slowly.
What is the safest jeans style?
Straight-leg mid or high rise. Works with most outfits and body shapes.
How do I pick inseam?
Measure a pair you love. Or choose ankle length for a safe everyday look.
