I want comfort (I need to move!)
We show the easiest fabrics, fits, and simple tricks to feel good all day.
I don’t know anything (help me)
- You measured waist, hips, and inseam.
- Your tape was snug, not tight.
- If you are between sizes: for pants, pick based on the largest area (usually hips) and your fabric (stretch vs woven).
If something feels off, go to Fixes. We tell you exactly what to change.
Size Finder
- Waist is where you want the waistband to sit (high/mid/low rise changes this).
- Hips is the fullest part of your hips/seat (most important for fitted pants).
- Inseam is inner leg length (crotch to ankle).
Fabric matters: stretch pants forgive more; woven pants need a more exact fit. Between sizes: choose the size that fits your largest area, then use tailoring for waist/length if needed.
Option A: Use measurements (best)
Use a string. Wrap, mark it, then measure that length with a ruler.
Option B: I know my regular size already
Pick your everyday size system and size. We show the closest match + all conversions (Alpha / US / UK / EU / IT / FR / AU).
If your waist and hips are in different sizes: choose the size that fits the hips, then tailor the waist (or choose a stretch/adjustable waistband).
Fit Rules
The 6 easy pants fit rules
- Waistband should not hurt: snug is okay, pain is not.
- Hips must move: you should sit without pulling or strain lines.
- Crotch comfort: no sharp tightness, no big sagging (choose the right rise).
- Thigh room: if it grabs your thighs, size up or choose a different cut.
- Length check: try with your real shoes (sneakers/heels/boots).
- Fabric changes everything: stretch = forgiving, woven = size matters more.
